User Generated Comments

When comments are generated on the web we save the data shown in the contact form along with the IP address of the visitor and the navigator User-Agent to help us detect spam.

An an anonymous chain created from your e-mail address (aka hash) may be sent to Gravatar to confirm that you are using it. The Gravater privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile’s image will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the web, you should avoid uploading images that include location data (GPS EXIF). Visitors to the web may download or extract any location data included in web images.

Cookies

Should you generate a comment on our web you can choose to save your name, e-mail address and web in cookies. This is for your comfort, as you will not have to repeatedly fill in your details every time you leave a comment. These cookies remain active for one year.

How long do we keep your data?

If you generate a comment, the commenta and its metadata are conserved indefinitely. This is so that we may recognize and approve any successive comments automatically, instead of keeping in a moderation queue.

Of the users registered on our site (if there be any), we also save the personal data included in thier user profile. All users may see. edit or eliminate their personal data at any time (except that they are unable to change their user name). The site’s administers may also see and edit this data.

What rights do you have concerning your data?

If you have an account or have generated comments on this site, you may request an export file containing any personal data in ur possession concerning you, including any data you have provided us with. You may also request that we eliminate any personal data in our possession concerning you. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.
