The most attractive feature of our Spanish courses is undoubtedly the town of Jerez de la Frontera itself and its inhabitants, the Jerezanos. Not only is our school located in a very picturesque and traditional Andalusian-style city, but is also within easy reach of both the nearby Atlantic coastline and the beautiful Sierra mountainside. From Jerez you have chance to visit the ancient city of Cádiz, the Andalusian capital Seville or the beautiful mountain villages of Arcos de la Frontera, Ronda or Zahara de la Sierra. A little further down the coast are the beautiful unspoilt beaches of Tarifa and Trafalgar.
An additional leisure option is provided by our two local golf clubs - Sherry Golf Jerez and Montecastillo – perfect for those who wish to take advantage of our local climate with its average 290 days of sunshine each year and average winter temperatures of 10º C.
Or if you prefer, just stroll around the picturesque cobble-stoned squares, visit a sherry bodega or a flamenco peña, or better still just relax with a cool glass of sherry in the shade of a palm tree at one of the many street cafés in the historic city centre. |
